The Pass Line bet is the foundation upon which the entire game of craps is built.
Conversely, if the dice show a 2, 3, or 12, the bet loses instantly, which is called "crapping out."
- Roll 7 or 11 to win instantly
- Roll 2, 3, or 12 to lose instantly
- Any other number establishes a "Point"
Playing After the Come-Out Roll
If any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) is rolled, that number becomes the "Point."
The shooter must now roll that exact same Point number again before rolling a 7.
Taking Odds Behind the Line
Placing an Odds bet behind your Pass Line wager is mathematically the smartest move possible.
Because it pays true mathematical odds, it is the only bet in the casino without a house advantage.
